FAQs

How does bouquet pressing work?

Once we have your bouquet in hand, it’s time to get to work! The bouquet is carefully processed and placed into a flower press. Flowers are usually pressed petal by petal and then reconstructed to preserve their appearance and ensure the best possible quality. The high-quality pressing paper is changed daily for the first week and then every few days in the weeks that follow to maintain optimal results.

How long does the pressing process take?

Pressed bouquet preservation typically takes 6-10 weeks from drop off to finished framed artwork. Drying alone takes several weeks before design begins.

Does the $300 price include the cost of the frame?

No — a frame is not included in the cost of pressing the bouquet. You are welcome to provide your own frame, or we can source one for you and simply add its price to the final total.

How soon do you need my bouquet after the wedding?

The sooner the better! Ideally within 24-48 hours after your wedding. Fresh flowers press and preserve much more beautifully than wilted blooms.

Will my flowers keep their original color?

Some flowers hold color very well, while others naturally deepen or soften during pressing. For example:

  • Light pink roses may turn blush or antique rose

  • White flowers may become ivory or cream

  • Dark red may deepen

Color changes are completely normal and part of the normal preservation process. Overtime, the flowers may continue to fade slightly.

Do you offer shipping or delivery?

At this time bouquets cannot be shipped. An agreed upon drop off/ pickup location will be agreed upon at the time of booking.

What if my bouquet is already a few days old?

Don’t panic! I can often still preserve it, but some browning or petal separation may occur depending on the flower type and condition.

Will my flowers have brown spots from the press?

Unfortunately, some flowers may begin to brown despite our best efforts to preserve their color. We strive to keep each bouquet looking as natural as possible, so slight browning can occasionally occur. When blemishes appear, we apply a color-correcting method to minimize their visibility and maintain the arrangement’s overall appearance.
